This is the same stage, the same panel and the same clock as a live Teals lot. Bid, or set a maximum and watch your proxy answer a rival one step at a time. A late bid resets the clock exactly as it does live: the soft close. Nothing here is real: no account, no money, no binding bid.
Your maximum is private. Nobody - not other bidders, not the room - ever sees the ceiling you set. Only you and the proxy know it.
You pay one step, not your max. The hammer lands one increment above the runner-up. Your maximum is the most you'd ever pay, almost never what you actually pay.
A real ceiling can't hurt you. Setting your true maximum only changes whether you win, never how much you pay to win. That's what lets a genuine top bid through.
You can't be sniped. A late bid resets the countdown to 15 seconds - here and in the real room - so an absentee max always gets its fair chance. Win awake or asleep.
